Welcome to the brand new website for the Townsend Records high street shops. Here you will find a large selection of our current in stock inventory, as well as pre-order links for forthcoming items and new release products.

Townsend Records has been a part of the high street for over 45 years. Our first shop opened in Great Harwood in 1978 and was followed by the Clitheroe shop in 1993. In launching this new website, we hope to offer you an insight into our bricks and mortar outlets, with specially curated new and second hand vinyl, accessories and merchandise.
 

We carry a broad range of vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and CD’s and cater to all tastes and genres, with a focus on Rock, Metal and Alternative music.

Our team of staff will be happy to advise you on the availability of any item, and through our vast array of contacts, can source new and used items as well as offering new releases delivered direct to your door.

We will be offering domestic and international shipping, along with a free in-store collection service for our more local customers.

 

Initially, our mailing days will be Tuesdays and Fridays, to coincide with our current collections. Pre-Order and New release items will be shipped the Thursday before release date. If you require an item urgently we will do our best to accommodate express shipping requests.
